Our Beliefs

  • There is only one God and He exists as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • God has revealed Himself to us through the Bible.

  • God made all things.

  • Since the fall, all humans are guilty of sin and deserving of God’s judgement.

  • Jesus was fully God and fully man. He was miraculously born of a virgin and lived a sinless life.

  • Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins. He rose from the dead and in doing so, freed us from the penalty and power of sin and death.

  • We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

  • The work of the Holy Spirit is necessary to bring about repentance, regeneration and salvation. The Holy Spirit continues to dwell and work in the hearts of believers.

  • Jesus will return one day in glory and power.

  • All of human life is sacred from the moment of conception until death.

  • Every human being’s life has a God-given purpose and every human being has the potential to know God in a personal way.

Our Values

  • Connection - God has made us as relational beings and we are not meant to do life alone. Life is richer when we function as part of a larger body.

  • Vulnerability and authenticity - We desire for this group to be a safe space in which people can be open about the mix of emotions and thoughts that they are feeling without fearing judgement.

  • Acceptance of Differences - There is no one “disability experience.” We each experience challenges in different ways and we seek to allow room for this difference. There is richness in the diversity represented in the body of Christ. He is what unites us.

  • Dignity and respect - All people are made in God’s image and therefore deserve dignity, respect, love and care.

  • Partnership - We desire to partner with churches and other organisations. We are part of a larger body. We do not seek to replace the local church.
